For the past few months, a ‘coming soon’ sign has been posted in Journal Squared which has announced the imminent opening of yet another bubble tea joint in the area. Now, it is believed that the Tsaocaa Tea store will be opening before December.

The store is to be located opposite Nathan’s Famous on the PATH plaza. This means that strategically, the shop will cater to Jersey City commuters. Financially, this store could do very well because of its location. Of course, it’s not the first boba store in the city so in that sense, competition will be tough. It’s fair to say that bubble tea has certainly made its mark on Jersey City in recent years.

Apparently, this spot had been in the making for several years which may explain why certain other areas of the building have remained vacant for so long. As seen, the inside of the venue looks all but complete while also being incredibly minimalistic.

For those wondering, Tsaocaa is a chain store that has over 50 locations in the USA. This location will be its first in Jersey City and not only does it serve tea, but it also offers egg waffles, donuts, and fried chicken. So, if fast food Asian cuisine is your thing then it may be worth checking out.
