New Nuts shop ‘coming soon’ to Hoboken
The building that previously housed Gamestop is soon to have a new occupier. Soon, a Nuts Factory will be moving in. This was seen by its literal ‘coming soon’ posters plastered on the door and windows. It also showed images of nuts alongside the text. At this point in time, it is not known when the new store will open. However, it is believed to be opening early next year after refurbishments are made to the insides.
Currently, Nuts Factory has 18 locations, with most of them in New York State. With this said, even though this venture does sound very niche, it looks to be a profitable one, and the owners know what they’re doing.
They also include nougat, sweets, and chocolate to accompany the nuts. Despite success elsewhere, it will be interesting to see how this does in Hoboken. In short, businesses in Central have often failed as the location is somewhat notorious. You could say, the area is a tough nut to crack.
Having said this, it’s fair to say that a nuts vendor is certainly something different compared to the usual retail spaces found in Hoboken. Although it does offer some unhealthy snacks, on the whole, the bulk of the products (nuts) are very healthy which is at least something.
