Next month, Cold Stone is set to open a new location in Newark. This ice cream shop already has a location based at Pulaski Hwy whereas the new venue will open on Broad Street in the Prudential building facing Military Park.

News of the opening was confirmed when its signage began to go up and was photographed. Not only this but it also had a large sign saying ‘Coming soon – December 2023’. However, at this time the exact opening date is unknown.

News of the opening was first shared on Reddit where the building was snapped by an eagle-eyed resident. This particular retail spot has been absent with shops and restaurants for a considerable amount of time, so it is nice to see it finally getting filled.

While opening an ice cream shop in December may seem like an audacious move, it looks as though Cold Stone are very experienced in operating their respective stores.
