Driver blocks TQL HQ parking lot demanding $8,000 in backpay

Today, a large truck parked in front of the Total Quality Logistics HQ car park with a very clear message sent to the owners. On the side of the truck, ‘TQL pay me my $8,000. I don’t run for charity’ was written. Lately, TQL has not had a great time where PR is concerned. This comes after the company recently lost a class action lawsuit regarding unpaid overtime for its workers.

Even if this disgruntled individual was in the wrong, this stunt would not have gone down well with TQL. As seen below, the message is far from subtle and certainly makes a point. From a legal standpoint however, the truck may be removed at some point due to blocking cars on private property.

TQL has been around since 1997, and it has grown a lot over the years. They are a third-party logistics provider that helps companies move freight and manage their supply chains. However, of late they have wound up in a precarious position.

The news of the truck first came about on social media. Here, various users and Cincinnati residents praised the trucker for taking a stance and fighting for their cause. Right now, it is not known whether the individual and TQL will come to an agreement, as it is believed discussions are ongoing.
