Top Golf readies up for Jersey City venue
Golf fanatics of Jersey City will be rubbing their hands with glee. This is because a new Top Golf venue is on its way to the city. Right now, information on the opening is very vague and it is believed to be in its infancy.
Therefore, there is no set opening date as of yet. However, it would be expected to open at some point late next year. Remember, building a Top Golf facility isn’t like a restaurant. They are usually huge, complicated, and employ hundreds of people.
Half a year after acquiring Jersey City’s Harborside Complex, the new proprietors have unveiled their vision for the property’s future. The complex, encompassing buildings at 150, 200, and 210 Hudson Street, boasts ground-floor retail, office spaces, and stunning views of the waterfront. With the aim to rejuvenate approximately two million square feet of underutilized space, the owners plan to introduce several new dining establishments and a Topgolf facility to enhance the building’s amenities.
The transaction involving the complex caught significant attention in April 2023 due to its record-breaking nature. It was distinguished as the most substantial office sale in the US, exceeding others by over $150 million, and it set a new benchmark as the most significant multitenant office transaction in New Jersey’s history. In recent months, Top Golf has achieved real success as its empire has expanded rapidly across the USA.
