Renowned for its dedicated fan base and history of extensive wait times, Shake Shack’s reputation precedes it, from its New York City beginnings to its Denver launch in 2018. Other popular burger brands like In-N-Out and Whataburger have also witnessed enthusiastic receptions in the Springs. So, mark your calendars, as Shake Shack is gearing up for its grand opening at the Colorado Springs Interquest location on Nov. 9, with festivities kicking off at 10:30 a.m.

Situated at 9723 Federal Dr., the Interquest Shake Shack will hold the distinction of being the highest altitude Shake Shack in the U.S. Patrons can enjoy its spacious patio, drive-thru service, and a menu featuring Shake Shack’s upscale takes on American favorites. This includes fresh Angus beef burgers, crispy chicken, creamy milkshakes, house-made lemonades, and a selection of alcoholic beverages.

A special Hot Menu will also be available for a limited time, boasting items like the Spicy Shackmeister Burger and Spicy Cheese Fries with Ranch Sauce. Additionally, the Interquest Shack will introduce a Colorado-exclusive dish: the Green Chile CheddarShack.

This new addition marks the 10th Shake Shack establishment in Colorado, including one at Denver International Airport. As the brand expands south from Denver, this will be its southernmost location in the state. Previous openings include the Greenwood Village Shack, which introduced the state’s first drive-up pickup, and the Castle Rock Shack, which debuted the first drive-thru.

Operating hours for the 3,200-square-foot Interquest Shack will be from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily, accommodating dine-in, drive-thru, and takeout orders.
