While it may not be the crime of the century, a shameless Sacramento Halloween candy thief took handfuls of treats yesterday while filling up his sack. After taking copious amounts of candy, he then came back to the same house later to take even more candy. To make matters worse, this person wasn’t exactly young either and could have been a young man.

Further still, their costume lacked effort, as they dressed in a plain hoodie without anything remotely resembling the Halloween season. The video was captured by the victim’s doorbell who posted the footage on Reddit. Here, they were disappointed, with many users chiming in sharing similar thoughts.

According to the uploader, the entire bowl was completely gone before 8 PM. You don’t need to be a detective to understand where most of the candy went either. Replying to this, one user added: “Dude. Adults tricker treating are the worst. Every greedy person who demanded more candy was an adult with no kids.”

While this isn’t technically illegal, it is still immoral and shows a lack of care for others. Sadly, you could argue that Halloween Night has lost the charm it once had years back because of individuals like this person.
