While Delaware may be a fairly quiet and peaceful state for the most part, it had an unusual guest yesterday after an F-16 fighter jet was seen circling the skies in the Mount Pleasant area. Footage of the military aircraft quickly circulated on social media where locals questioned its reason for scoping out the vicinity. It goes without saying that people were bound to be curious as this isn’t something that you’d expect to see in Delaware on a regular basis.

A video of the incident was also shared on Reddit, where the person who filmed the jet questioned its intentions. Thankfully, a helpful user managed to answer the query and after reading the explanation, it makes sense.
