Brad Little bashed after claiming Idaho health care is one of the best in the USA
Idaho Governor Brad Little recently made quite a dramatic claim. Writing on his Twitter account, Little argued that his state had some of the best healthcare in the nation. Overall, this is quite a statement and one that not everyone agreed with. In fact, this announcement caused quite a stir with a number of people claiming that he was incorrect.
Specifically, his statement read: ‘Idaho’s health care exchange is one of the BEST IN THE NATION! With more than 154 medical and 21 dental plans @YourHealthIdahooffers Idahoans affordable, accessible healthcare opportunities.’
Here, one constituent named Holly Emerson replied saying: “Healthcare is becoming non-existent in Idaho thanks to Obamacare turning over medical care to bureaucrats. Practitioners no longer examine you & spend an entire visit typing notes into a laptop to match billing codes. VERY LITTLE proactive care is ever provided.”
Similarly, a user named Fiona wrote: “Says someone who doesn’t use Idaho’s Health Exchange. It’s absolutely poor for those who do have to use it from the interface to the crazy expensive plans.”
Clearly, his thoughts weren’t reciprocated and this shows that sometimes, when politicians speak not everyone takes their words at face value. Not only this but this is especially the case when there are no sources or facts to back up such claims.
