Brian Kemp challenged over anti-Biden comments

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp was recently challenged for comments he made about Joe Biden’s economic policy. On his Twitter page, Kemp claimed that U.S mortgage rates were the highest in over 23 years, of which he claimed this was due to Bidenomics. While this claim has not been proven, it’s not too surprising considering that Kemp is on the opposite side of the political spectrum.

He also claimed that in Georgia, he was trying to fight the pinch of inflation for families. Specifically, his tweet read: ‘U.S mortgage rates soar to highest in more than 23 years’ – ReutersAnother sign of Bidenomics at work.Meanwhile, here in Georgia we’re fighting to give hardworking families relief from runaway costs.’

Naturally, not everyone agreed with his comments and some used the replies section to challenge his claims. Here’s what a number of Georgian’s had to say on the subject.

One user named Chadwick used this to talk about living costs based on Georgia’s car insurance and wrote: “Let’s talk about car insurance rates in Georgia. Dang and I thought Michigan’s was high.”

Similarly, another user put up a photo that read: “Always remember this: If you are female in Georgia, Gov. Kemp thinks your medical decisions are his. Kemp thinks your medical decisions are state government business.”

While this wasn’t based on economics and instead looked at body autonomy, it shows that if you’re a politican who is going to criticize other politicians, you will always leave yourself open to criticism from others.
