Having originally launched in College Park, Fishnet utilized the Mount Vernon market as a platform to gauge their business potential in Baltimore, as mentioned by Keyia Yalcin. After a four-year tenure in Mount Vernon, the next phase for Fishnet involves owning their venue rather than renting various spots. The exact location remains undisclosed by Yalcin until the acquisition is officially sealed.

Fishnet will bid adieu to Mount Vernon Marketplace with a farewell event on Oct. 29. The subsequent six months will be dedicated to setting up their new establishment, aiming for a grand opening by May 2024. Additionally, a Fishnet food truck is slated to hit the streets early in the next year, even before the restaurant’s inauguration, as informed by Yalcin.

Fishnet’s journey began in College Park, where it operated for approximately eight years before shutting down in 2019. The brand also ventured into Washington, D.C., underwent a rebranding, but eventually closed. Their Mount Vernon branch commenced operations in 2019.
