A new Italian-Cajun restaurant is set to open in Shreveport next month. This is according to the owner of Mama’s Italian which is to be located at 5747 Youree Drive. News of the restaurant’s opening was first posted on Reddit by the owner, who wrote: ‘Italian, American with a Cajun twist. Located on 5747 youree drive in Shreveport la !!!! (Same parking lot as Planet Fitness). I will be running 2-3 fresh specials each week!!! Come check it out. If you see this post on Reddit let me know and I’ll meet you up at the restaurant for a 15% off card. I will be open in a couple of weeks!’

This was accompanied by images of the menu which can be seen below. Here, the menu showed a number of subs, sandwiches, and salads (it should be known that this only shows half of the menu).

Aside from this, there is little information to be found regarding Mama’s opening which seems to have a lack of presence online. Nonetheless, those wary of its opening were excited to taste fresh Italian food. Overall, it will be interesting to taste the cajun twist as well which shows that this place is a bit different compared to the norm. Although an exact date has not yet been given, according to the owner it will be open within the next few weeks in time for the holiday season.
