Veterans Day is set to take place on November 11 and as a result, the city of Miami has started erecting posters for the big day. Undoubtedly, this is an important day for all US citizens as it pays respect to those who have served in the US military over the years. However, there is something a bit off with one of the poster designs used for this year’s parade.

Originally posted on Reddit, the image was captioned: ‘Miami-Dade celebrating Veterans Day with banners featuring Russian jets.’ This showed a number of fighter jets toward the bottom of the poster, which has divided critics. Some are saying that these are Russian SU-35s, while others are arguing that they’re US F-15s. Although it’s hard to tell looking at the poster, an argument could be made for either side. Clearly, the graphic designer didn’t have a great day when they made this image. Sadly, it gets worse.

Other mistakes include using an apostrophe in the word Veterans, while the US flag is also backward in terms of its placement of the stars. While some of these mistakes may not be the biggest in the world, they still show a lack of professionalism and due diligence when carrying out a pretty important job. With the parade just days away, it will be interesting to see if this poster is rectified or whether it will remain in place on November 11.
