Yesterday, a gang of women were caught in the act as they brazenly stole plant clippings from outside of a house in The Heights, Jersey City. The trio of villains was caught on CCTV as they approached the property, with bags in hand. Because of this, you could argue that the robbery was definitely pre-meditated and that they had probably scoped out the property before as it seemed quite targeted.

Here, they even had clippers at the ready, as the three women chopped off copious amounts of red flowers before bagging them up and leaving. While this may not be the crime of the century, it still shows disdain for the property of others and is still an illegal, selfish act.

The news was posted on Reddit, where the user who uploaded it wrote: ‘Posting on behalf of a friend with permission. A trio of girls/women came with shears and a bag to cut the blooms from a neighbor’s mum. Happened around 2:30 pm on Sunday 10/22 near Reservoir 3 b/w Central and Oakland. Swipe through to see the before and after; they completely destroyed the plant.’

The post gained over 100 comments, with almost all of them condemning the flower thieves and questioning they would do such a destructive and selfish act. As of right now, an investigation is ongoing.
