Shocking footage shows driver dangerously forcing car into other lane
This week, a video emerged that showed a shocking incident taking place on Jacksonville’s I95. Here, a car was casually driving along before another car on its left appeared. After a few seconds, this car suddenly merged into the same lane, effectively cutting them off. This resulted in the quick-thinking driver performing a maneuver that saw them go into a completely different lane altogether.
Fortunately, this took place before the meridian as otherwise it could have resulted in a very serious crash. The incident was captured on the victim’s dash cam who later confirmed that they were not hurt by the incident. Had it not been for their skilled driving though, this could have been a lot worse.
The video was originally uploaded to Reddit which sparked a heated discussion. Here, users praised the driver’s fast thinking and handling of their vehicle. Simultaneously, the same group also condemned the bad driving of the culprit who clearly didn’t use their mirrors or signal to show their lane change.
Over the years, the I95 has become infamous in Jacksonville for bad driving. For some reason, it seems to consistently attract bad drivers who use the interchange without intelligence or regard for others. Thankfully though, this footage showed that there are still at least some capable drivers out there.
