While Lowe’s is used daily by millions of Americans, it doesn’t mean that all of their items are bargains. In one recent case, the price for a small toy was $9.99. This was photographed and shared on social media where users reacted to its high price.

This is because this toy is often associated with quarter machines. The toy in question was a ‘World’s Smallest’ Good Luck Troll toy. The toy displayed the high price behind it, which prompted the caption: ‘Quarter machine toy for $10 at Lowe’s Foods.’ For reference, this Amazon seller had 20 similar trolls priced at $15.99 which marks a significant discount per unit.

Originally uploaded to Reddit, one user replied by saying: “Agreed and little known fun fact: this is the only grocery store WCPSS has approved for purchase orders with. So frustrating not only to spend more than necessary but also have to pass a dozen grocery stores on the way to one of the few locations in the Raleigh area.”

As well as this, others claimed that it wasn’t just toys that were expensive here, with some saying that vanilla bean pod jars were substantially more expensive compared to other super stores. Unfortunately, the exact store was not stated. However, this happened somewhere in Raleigh.
