Cycle Dogs to permanently close at the end of October due to money issues

October 19, 2023 by No Comments

The vegan hot dog establishment known as Cycle Dogs will be closing its doors by the end of October. Cycle Dogs, originally established as a food truck in 2015, made its bricks-and-mortar debut in 2021 when it took over the former No Bones Beach Club location. Enduring a tumultuous first year, the owner, Keaton Tucker, turned to the community for assistance in December 2022 to address financial difficulties that had accumulated to more than $140,000. Undoubtedly, this news will be disappointing for many, seeing as it had won hundreds of positive reviews.

Regrettably, Tucker has now disclosed that Cycle Dogs will be permanently shutting down. He conveyed this news to his Instagram followers through a video announcement. Tucker explained that a recent business partner’s withdrawal had left him with no choice but to discontinue operations. In an emotional video, he captioned it by writing: ‘Cycle Dogs will close, permanently October 31st. I came up short, guys. It’s a good little business, but I couldn’t work efficiently enough to save it (even though sales are way up and climbing).’

After tirelessly dedicating himself to the business over the past several months, he has decided to bring this chapter to a close. At this point in time, it is not known what willl replace Cycle Dogs or whether Tucker will eventually try his luck with another restaurant at some point.
