Recently, it was revealed that a new coffee shop was coming to Tucson. This isn’t an independent store either, and actually, you may know this particular chain store very well. This is because the city records show that Starbucks is coming to Golf Links and Kolb.

According to this site, Starbucks already has more than 150 locations in the city already. Because of this, you can understand why Tucson locals may feel a little underwhelmed at the prospect of yet another Starbucks in town.

This news was originally found by an internet sleuth who did some digging. Here, they looked through the city records and found that a Starbucks was being planned. The information was then shared to Reddit where various users gave their say on the new arrival.

Here, one user wrote: “I pulled up the map for Starbucks in the area. Literally one on every street down Kolb. Awful stuff,” which makes sense considering the aforementioned article that showed over 150 locations in Tucson. Nonetheless, it goes without saying that these shops must be profitable in the first place and clearly there is a big demand for Starbucks coffee which justifies this move. At the moment, it is not known when this will open and it is believed that it is still in its infancy.
