Customers shocked as CoffeeBar burglarized in night-time raid
One of Reno’s most beloved coffee shops was recently the victim of theft during the middle of the night. The incident took place two days ago and was posted on the Instagram profile which showed CCTV footage of the thief and their getaway vehicle. This took place at the McCarran location at 4 AM. Unfortunately for CoffeeBar, the camera footage was too grainy to really identify the culprit or his license plates.
Despite this, it seems as though the culprit wasn’t the smartest, as they showed their entire face while walking around the property. Clearly, they weren’t a criminal mastermind.
Here, the update said: ‘Hey community we need your help. Our McCarran location was robbed the morning of the 14th from 4:00-4:30 am. He stole most of our patio furniture, fire pit, propane, and broke all of our locks and gates. If anyone has any security cameras in the area or recognizes this person please reach out via DM with information.’
Reacting to the news, over 800 people liked the post, with over 80 commenting on the situation. Here, they paid their respect to the chain, while also condemning the criminal. Perhaps the weirdest part of this robbery was the items stolen. While these will undoubtedly hurt the business, patio furniture isn’t exactly the most valuable of items to sell on the black market.
