New Barbecue Restaurant opens in Atlanta
Fox Brothers Barbecue has recently opened its doors in Brookhaven Station, located at 4058 Peachtree Rd NE. This restaurant offers a unique dining experience, characterized by counter-style ordering, freshly sliced smoked meats, classic Texas sides, and delectable desserts.
The vision behind Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q is rooted in the passion of its owners, Jonathan and Justin Fox. Their journey in the world of barbecue began with hosting backyard gatherings for friends and family at their Brookhaven residence, where they meticulously refined their smoking skills to replicate the authentic flavors of the barbecue they cherished from their Texan upbringing.
The heart of Fox Bros. Barbecue is its smokehouse, which boasts three custom-made 1,000-gallon Mill Scale offset smokers from Lockhart, Texas, as well as an M&M rotisserie. Here, they season and smoke hundreds of pounds of prime-certified Angus Beef to perfection.
When you dine at Fox Bros. Barbecue, you’ll have the opportunity to order from a traditional meat counter, where you can request proteins like brisket, pork, ribs, turkey, and house-made sausage, which will then be weighed by the pound and expertly sliced to your preference.
To complement these savory dishes, a selection of side items is available, including sautéed green beans with a crispy fried shallot topping, pinto beans paired with crema and pico de gallo, brisket chili garnished with crema, diced onions, and cheese, as well as white cheddar mac and broccoli salad served with green goddess dressing, toasted pepitas, and cotija cheese. To finish your meal on a sweet note, indulge in tempting desserts like slices of Texas Birthday Cake or Butterscotch Pudding adorned with toffee crunch and bananas.
Fox Bros. Barbecue also offers a beverage menu that includes beer, canned cocktails, canned wines, soft drinks, and tea. These drinks are readily available for those dining in, with the added convenience of ordering additional drinks, sides, or desserts via a QR code once you’re comfortably seated at a table. The indoor dining area can accommodate up to 70 guests, and an outdoor patio provides space for an additional 40 patrons.
Notably, Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q operates two other full-service locations in Atlanta at 1238 Dekalb Avenue and 204 Chattahoochee Row NW. Additionally, there’s a grab-and-go option at the Fox Bros. Que-osk, situated at 120 Ottley Drive NE. You can also savor the flavors of Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q at the Terrapin Taproom at Truist Park.
The Brookhaven establishment welcomes guests from Tuesday through Sunday, starting at 11 a.m. and serving until they run out of their delicious offerings.
