Approximately one month following the closure of Six Forks Burger Co., the family-owned establishment in Schnitzelburg is preparing to resume operations. On September 5, owner Troy King of Six Forks took to Facebook to announce the closure of his burger eatery, which originally opened in 2020.

In a recent video posted on the restaurant’s Facebook page, King conveyed the message, “We’re making a comeback.” King shared that after receiving messages from loyal patrons and engaging in discussions with some of his staff, he and his family have chosen to relaunch the business with a revised approach.

On their social media pages, the fast food joint wrote: “Six Forks Burger Company is reopening its doors on Wednesday, October 18th. After announcing our end of service on September 5, we received an overwhelming outpouring of love and support.”

Upon its return on October 18, Six Forks will offer a slightly reduced menu and will exclusively operate as a take-out establishment. To enhance speed and efficiency, self-serve kiosks and a dedicated ordering app will be available for customers. It’s important to note that the building located at 1039 Ash St. will undergo a transformation into the headquarters for Troy King’s company, Velvet Couch Hospitality Group, which also oversees Fry Daddy’s.

The menu can be found here which is good news if you’re in Louisville with a penchant for fast food and burgers.
