New Indy Restaurant & Coffee Shop to open today
Today, a new restaurant and coffee shop is opening in Indianapolis. Named Gather 22, this is the brainchild of the team behind Byrne’s Grilled Pizza. Because of this, it has been confirmed that pizza will be on the menu. As well as this, the space will also include a coffee shop in the mornings and a cocktail bar in the evenings.
In other words, it’s literally three venues under one roof. As well as this, it also plans to have live music and act as a marketplace. As you may have figured by now, it really is an ambitious project and is certainly something different compared to the norm. Its opening was announced on the official Instagram page. Starting from today, the soft opening has begun.
Interestingly, part of this venture was funded by locals on Kickstarter. A total of $28,148 was raised and easily surpassed the original goal of $20,000. On the Kickstarter page, it also says: “The inspiration for Gather 22 is simple. We want to create the best gathering space for our beloved community. Our goal is to lean into the versatility of how we should be able to enjoy a restaurant space. Within our beautifully designed space, we will feature a full coffee program during the morning, lunches in the afternoon, and offer dinner and cocktails in the evenings.”
