Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy restaurant closes after 2 years

October 14, 2023 by No Comments

After just under two years of business, Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy restaurant has permanently closed its downtown location in Nashville. Interestingly, there is little information surrounding its closure online. However, it is listed as permanently closed on Google, Yelp, and Next Door. In other words, it’s safe to assume that it isn’t coming back.

Unfortunately though, there has been nothing covering this story in the way of news or even a social media announcement from Fieri’s chain. Despite this, it turns out that the shop has been closed for a few months, albeit its status has only recently been listed as permanently closed online.

Perhaps one reason for its closure is due to its lack of organization. During its time on 2nd Ave N, it was known for long lines and slow waiting times. In other words, it wasn’t exactly the fast food service that you’d expect. This combined with its high rent price in the area, could have contributed to its closure.

Chicken Guy! is a fast-casual restaurant chain founded by celebrity chef Guy Fieri and restaurateur Robert Earl. The restaurant specializes in serving a menu centered around chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches, often with a variety of dipping sauces. Chicken Guy! offers a range of signature sauces, which are a key feature of the restaurant’s offerings. Some of these sauces were created by Guy Fieri himself. At this moment in time, it is not known what will be replacing the establishment.
