Two days back, Trish & Mary’s Public House opened in Springfield. This is an English-themed put that only sells drinks for now. However, a Sunday breakfast menu is set to be added at some point in the future. Trish & Mary’s is located in Vinegar Hill Mall which has recently undergone a revitalization phase. Because of this, it will be interesting to see the footfall of the area and how the pub gets on in the long term.

Trish & Mary’s Public House offers a genuine English-style pub ambiance with a strong emphasis on live soccer matches. Occupying the location previously home to Tommy’s Tap, this establishment accommodates approximately 40 patrons within the bar area, and an additional 40 in the year-round beer garden.

Initially, the operating hours will be constrained, with the pub opening from 4 PM to 11 PM on weekdays and extending its hours from 11 AM to 11 PM on Saturdays. Further expansion of operational hours is planned in the near future. A big hint of its nationality can also be seen with the large red phone box that is located near its entrance. This is quintessentially British and was used by the public the make phone calls back in the day.

Overall, it’s nice to see Vinegar Hill Mall get a new lease of life. Ultimately, time will tell if it does well and the same can be said for Trish & Mary’s.
