Asheville’s Trashy Vegan restaurant has announced its upcoming closure towards the end of the year. Although nothing has been mentioned on their social media pages, a sign was left outside of their window that mentioned the closure. This was photographed by a customer and it read: ‘No more free meals. We are no longer able to provide free meal options as we are closing at the end of the year.’

However, one user claimed that it wasn’t a financial decision, and was made out of a personal decision to leave the restaurant industry due to its demanding nature.

Although not confirmed, this would make sense considering that it often appeared busy and filled with customers. During its time, it’s fair to say that the reviews reflected its popularity too which were very positive. Interestingly, this won’t be the first location to close at this particular location either, which has had a number of closures over the years.

At this point in time, an exact closing date has not yet been given. Similarly, it is not known what will replace The Trashy Vegan.
