An image recently went viral on social media that showed a huge mountain of trash gathering outside of Fern Parc, Huntsville. Here, there were literally hundreds of bags of trash that completely blocked off the sidewalk while also threatening to tip into the road.

Clearly, this isn’t a nice sight to see and as you can imagine, the smell may have been even worse. Ironically, the trash mountain didn’t quite cover the ‘Dumpster rules’ sign that was situated behind it. Nonetheless, you can imagine that this sort of arrangement wasn’t part of the original rulebook.

The image above was originally posted on Reddit which created a discussion surrounding it. Here, one user Here, one user claimed to previously live in the apartment complex and said that this happened ‘several times a year’. Specifically, they wrote: “It was like this several times when I lived there too. I don’t know why it always got so bad but it did a couple of times a year. There were always massive rats around it too. If you walked over there at night to add to the pile you’d see them just scurrying around all of it. I think they use Republic trash service and they just sucked.”

Whether this claim was exaggerated or not is unknown. However, this isn’t a great sight to see and is clearly unhygienic, especially in the heat. Sadly, this isn’t the only place in Huntsville that seemingly has this problem either.
