Fans of The Radler Biergarten will be disappointed, as it is closing for good. This news has not been covered much and was only revealed after the new occupants of the location confirmed taking over the venue on their social media page. Recently, The Radler Biergarten was temporarily closed and now this move is to be made permanent. Due to the lack of information, it is not known why the Radler has decided to close.

It will be replaced by Gustos Burgers + Stuff, a renowned food truck specializing in delectable late-night burger creations, which is set to inaugurate its first brick-and-mortar establishment in the vibrant Near Southside district.

Jonathan Arguello, a Texan burger virtuoso with a devoted local fan base, has garnered acclaim for his wonderfully messy burger concoctions and an enigmatic secret sauce. Perhaps you’ve spotted his mobile kitchen adjacent to Hotel Dryce prior to his recent relocation to Tulips FTW.

Taking over the premises of The Radler Biergarten at 1229 7th Ave, this exciting burger joint is scheduled for a brief opening on Saturday, October 21st, commencing at 12 p.m. to coincide with ArtsGoggle. The news was shared on their Instagram account which can be seen below.

Following the conclusion of the arts festival, the establishment will temporarily close its doors to undergo necessary renovations tailored to the new space’s requirements. Gustos anticipates a grand reopening in either the initial or second week of November, offering happy hour, dinner, and, ideally, late-night dining services.
