Over the past weekend, Ride ‘Em Cowboy made its debut on Sunday at 2451 Central Avenue, right in the heart of the bustling Grand Central District of St. Petersburg.

This country-themed establishment now occupies the 3,420-square-foot space that was previously the home of Mixers at Old Key West Bar & Grill, which ceased operations in June.

According to its proprietor, Ride ‘Em Cowboy promises a more eclectic blend of music compared to your typical country bar. DJs curate playlists featuring a fusion of country and electronic dance tunes, creating an energetic atmosphere that gets the crowd moving.

For those patrons seeking a more laid-back experience, Ride ‘Em Cowboy boasts nearly 20 large-screen TVs and offers NFL Sunday Ticket for avid football enthusiasts.

Additionally, customers have the option to relax on the patio and partake in various games like cornhole and ring toss.

As guests enjoy these activities, they can savor a range of specialty cocktails, including homemade sarsaparilla with root beer candy. Other drink offerings feature whimsical garnishes like cotton candy and whipped cream.

The food menu caters to both light snack seekers and those with heartier appetites, featuring items such as burgers and chicken, and waffles. Most of the food will be served in to-go containers, creating a food truck-like vibe, according to Mikurak, the owner.

Ride ‘Em Cowboy welcomes visitors seven days a week. Operating hours are from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and from noon to 3 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
