Shake Shack, a New York City-based eatery that describes itself as a modern-day burger stand, is planning to establish a presence in the space currently occupied by M Shack at St. Johns Town Center starting next year.

Matthew Medure, the chef and CEO of Jacksonville-based Medure Brothers Culinary Concepts, announced on October 9th that M Shack’s lease, which has been in place for a decade, will conclude on March 1, 2024. Following the expiration, all furniture, fixtures, and equipment will be removed, and M Shack will vacate the premises. Because of this, an exact opening date for Shake Shack has not yet been given. However, it will be the first of its kind in Jacksonville.
