Lincoln’s Haberdashery is set to conclude its operations by the end of the week, and an upcoming transformation of the South End location was unveiled on Tuesday, October 3, via social media.

On their official Instagram account, the Haberdashery wrote: “It is with a heavy heart that we share some bittersweet news with you all. After much reflection and consideration, we have decided that this will be the last week of service at our beloved Lincoln’s Haberdashery.”

This post gained thousands of supportive likes and hundreds of comments, as locals paid their respects to the store. The full post can be seen below in greater detail.

The establishment at 1300 South Blvd, originally led by the late Chef Michael Shortino, who passed away in August at the age of 57, is slated for a fresh culinary concept. The intention is to proceed with the restaurant project that Chef Shortino had been diligently working on before his unfortunate demise as a tribute to his legacy. However, it appears that customers will need to exercise patience as these plans are put into action.

The Haberdashery menu was famed for including a range of offerings, such as specialty coffee beverages like espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and brewed coffee. For breakfast, they served items like breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and other morning treats. Occasionally, they offered brunch options featuring dishes like quiches, frittatas, and other brunch favorites.
