Brown Chicken Brown Cow abruptly closes
A popular San Jose restaurant has abruptly closed with little attention. The closure of Brown Chicken Brown Cow may come as a surprise to many, but this is what happened over the weekend. The closure was announced on a San Jose community Instagram page. Here, it wrote: “We have some bad news for you fans of fine artisanal burgers. Brown Chicken Brown Cow at Campbell closed their doors quietly this weekend without any fanfare.”
This was also accompanied by a statement given by the Brown Chicken and Brown Cow team which read: “Dear Beloved Friends, the time has come to close our doors. We are deeply grateful to our customers for your decade-long support and patronage. All of which is owed to all of our team members, who have poured their passions into their hard work throughout the many years. We will hold dear the many memories made over burgers, sandwiches, salads, and more!”
This statement gained hundreds of likes and comments in support of the eatery. Founded over 10 years ago, Brown Chicken Brown Cow was often regarded as a solid option for dining in San Jose. Here, it specialized in chicken and beef burgers which is perhaps where its name originated from. With this in mind, it is not surprising to see people mourning its closure. It is currently unknown why it closed or what will replace it in the future.
