Announced through an Instagram post, All’Antico Vinaio, a renowned sandwich shop originally hailing from Florence and having successfully expanded to nearly a dozen global locations, including its 2021 venture in New York City, has just introduced several new establishments in the Los Angeles region. Their first location is situated on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice.

This weekend saw the chain open its first location in LA, which was in the appropriately named Venice area. To be precise, its location is 1121 Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice, CA 90291 and it is now open for business. As seen on Instagram, the owners looked pretty pleased to be opening anyway.

If you know a thing or two about Italian sandwiches, then you’ll be aware of how delicious they can be. These places tend to be generous with their toppings and know how to properly season their meats. Here, you can expect some pretty big slices of bread, copious amounts of meats, and lots of lettuce. Imagine a better version of Subway and you’re halfway there.

All’Antico Vinaio is known for serving a variety of high-quality Italian sandwiches, often made with freshly baked Tuscan bread and filled with a wide range of ingredients. Some of the popular fillings and toppings you can find in their sandwiches include various types of cured meats like prosciutto, salami, and mortadella, as well as cheeses, fresh vegetables, olive spreads, and condiments. These sandwiches are typically made to order and can be customized to suit individual preferences. In addition to sandwiches, they may also offer other Italian delicacies and beverages.
