It’s bizarre to think that a city such as Modesto doesn’t have a Chick-fil-A location in 2023. With a population of nearly 220,000, it could easily house a couple of locations. Nonetheless, this is the reality that the city’s chicken lovers have to live with. At the same time, there may be some good news and it’s possible that Modesto will be getting a new Chick-fil-A as early as next year.

This is if you’re willing to believe a leaked document that has done the rounds on social media. Originally uploaded on Reddit, this showed a number of commercial properties in the city, and as you can see, it also includes Chic-fil-A. Aside from this, there isn’t any more information. Nonetheless, it would make sense seeing as the fast food outlet has expanded its outlets over the past year.

Speaking on Reddit, a user uploaded a picture of the leak and captioned it by saying: “An insider at the city of Modesto just sent me this.” Interestingly, it also shows Sam’s Club replacing Costco as a ‘Priority retail brand’. As mentioned earlier, this took place on a message board and right now, there’s nothing to say that it’s not made up. Nonetheless, the addition of Chick-fil-A would arguably improve the city. If it does go ahead, then the details are still unknown. This goes for both the opening date and location.
