According to the official Jollibee website, their Dallas restaurant is set to open this fall. Here, it says ‘Opening Fall 2023 – Jollibee DallasDallas NE Greenville Avenue’. Despite this message being an obvious positive for fried chicken fans, it may not be as promising as it first looks. This is because there is a possibility that it won’t actually be opening. Here is why.

In short, this restaurant has apparently been in the works for several years. The announcement of its opening was literally made years back and it still has a ‘coming soon’ sign at the front of the venue. With this said, there have been obvious delays and there isn’t much information surrounding why this hasn’t yet opened.

With this being said, you can see why Dallas locals may meet this news with cynicism. The Dallas location is based at 4703 Greenville Ave, Dallas, Texas, 75206 which may be coming this fall. Until then, Jollibee fans can still go to the nearby Plano branch instead.
