If you’ve been residing in New Orleans for long enough, you might have come across peculiar symbols scattered throughout the city. These symbols show various symbols featuring initials, letters, and other symbols that resemble an inverted triangle. Apparently, this is not a recent occurrence but has persisted for a considerable duration. What adds to the intrigue is the widespread distribution of these symbols, with sightings reported in various locations across the city. Most recently, these were sighted in the Quarter on the four corners of Dumaine & Burgundy.

Most recently, the aforementioned images were shared on Reddit. Here, a puzzled local asked others what these symbols meant. Unfortunately, this brought up more questions than answers which only added to their mysterious nature. Here, some even claimed that it could be a viral marketing campaign. Arguably though, this would be quite a weak attempt at marketing if this was the case as the symbols are too vague.

Interestingly, it has come to light that numerous online forums are dedicated to discussions about these enigmatic symbols, yet no one seems to have a definitive source for their origin. Periodically, these discussions resurface, perpetuating a cycle of curiosity and uncertainty.
