On Monday, October 2nd at 9 am, Delaware Greenways will be celebrating the official opening of the first segment of the Commons Blvd Trail. Locals are invited to join them as they embark on an approximately 8-mile journey from Wilmington on the JAM Trail (and off) to reach the ribbon-cutting event at Creekwood Road in New Castle. The progress of this significant trail connection is especially exciting for the area, given the involvement in funding the feasibility study through a grant from the William Penn Foundation. This was announced on the Delaware Greenways Facebook page.
