A new gym is set to open in Hoboken on Tuesday 3rd of October. This was confirmed on the Instagram account of Fitness Factory Hoboken which is located in the location that was previously vacated by Retro Fitness. Here, Fitness Factory is set to assume occupancy at 130 Washington Street.

According to the same announcement, the price will be capped at $49.99 per month with no upfront fees. However, if you sign up after its opening date then this will rise to $59.99.

Part of their statement read: “Hey Everybody! We are so excited to announce that we just got the OK to open Tuesday 10/3!!! We will be doing a soft opening at 9am as opposed to our normal business hours of 5am opening. We just want to make sure everything is just right and ready to go!”

A video on the same page showed the new equipment that filled the space, as well as various ceiling fans to keep the gym at a cool temperature. This had the usual pieces of kit, including various machines as well as free weights.

Its opening will come almost 2 months to the day after Retro fitness abruptly closed its doors. Fitness Factory boasts multiple establishments across New Jersey, with branches in Jersey City, Paterson, West New York, and Edgewater.
