Austin Beerworks van stolen by callous thieves

September 23, 2023 by No Comments

On Wednesday evening, one of the Austin Beerworks vans was unexpectedly taken from their distribution facility. They promptly notified the authorities, and have since urged anyone who happens to come across the vehicle in the vicinity to promptly inform law enforcement.

This story was shared on their Instagram page, as well as an image of the stolen van. Here, they wrote: “Howdy Austin Texas please read, as this is some lame news for us to share. Wednesday evening our Red (possibly looking more orange from the Texas heat) van was stolen right out from under us at our distribution facility. The authorities have been contacted, but please if you see this vehicle anywhere around town don’t engage, and contact the authorities asap.”

It goes without saying that this van really sticks out and is far from generic vehicles. Nonethelss, if this was stolen by a sophisticated criminal gang then it could be sprayed or harvested for parts. Established in 2011 by a team consisting of Adam DeBower, Mike McGovern, Michael Graham, and head brewer Will Golden, Austin Beerworks swiftly left an indelible mark on the Austin beer landscape. Their success can be largely attributed to their unwavering commitment to two core principles: the consistent production of outstanding craft beers and the cultivation of a sense of community in their beloved town.
