New Piano Bar set to open after Luna’s Cafe closure
It’s been over one month since the popular Luna’s Cafe and Juice bar closed. However, it now looks as though Sacramento is getting a replacement. Eagle-eyed locals have spotted the signage outside the venue that hints at a new business opening soon. Upon closer inspection, you may also notice the web address which is for Silver Lining. This appears to be a piano bar that claims to be opening in October.
The website can be found here, where it claims to continue Luna’s legacy while also saying: “We believe that music and arts have the power to uplift spirits and inspire joy. Our establishment is more than just a place to enjoy live music, poetry, artists, and delightful drinks; it’s a haven that celebrates the beauty and resilience found in life’s ups and downs. Our atmosphere is centered around a nostalgic vibe, capturing the wistfulness and desire of one’s past. The Silver Lining’s location, 1414 16th Street, will take the place of Luna’s Cafe and Juice Bar.” A teaser of the opening can also be found on their Instagram account.
Overall, there seems to be a considerable amount of excitement building up towards the opening. Obviously, it will have big shoes to fill in terms of replacing Luna’s Cafe. However, if it’s even half as successful then Sacramento will be a better place for it.
