If you’ve lived in Connecticut long enough then you may have noticed weird symbols dotted around the state. These read ‘VEO’ with the initial letter looking like an upside-down triangle. This isn’t a new phenomenon either and has been going on for some time. What’s even stranger is that these symbols have appeared all over the state, with sightings all over the place.

As seen in the image below, these have been drawn on the side of a bridge and can be found on I84/91/95 corridor. According to one local, they even found the symbol carved into a urinal. Over the years, locals have speculated what the symbols mean, with many believing it is the work of an anonymous artist who lives in the area.

After doing research, we found this Reddit thread where many Connecticut residents discussed the sightings. Here, some claimed that they had seen the symbols as far as NY, RI, and upstate Mass. What’s even weirder is that these are often located in awkward places that would be difficult to physically reach.

In fact, it turns out that there are many internet boards discussing these symbols with no one really knowing where they come from. Every few years, these discussions seem to resurface with more questions than answers. It looks as though this Connecticut mystery will be unsolved for some time to come.
