Some of the weirdest graffiti in St. Louis recently emerged which showed drawings of dogs talking to each other, while saying ‘Ruff’. According to the person who shared this image on social media, there is a backstory that is almost worthy of the strange graffiti and it’s filled with neighborhood drama.

The image below was posted to Reddit. Here, it says ‘We have barking dogs, the dogs bark. Dogs bark here. Ruff.’ This was accompanied by two badly-drawn dogs talking to each other with one saying ‘I wish I could talk’, with the other replying: ‘Me too’.

This photo was apparently taken in the Tower Grove South neighborhood of St. Louis. Chiming in on the Reddit thread, a user wrote: “This is related to some neighborhood drama that is ongoing in TGS. Apparently, the owners themselves painted that on the fence after neighbors complained about their dogs barking loudly outside.”

Although this hasn’t been confirmed, another user claimed that the home owner with the dogs had their name and address posted which prompted the unusual response of adding graffiti to their own fence. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out and whether the vandalism was a stress release or whether it was a sophisticated power play. Regardless, it’s fair to say that this is one of the weirder sights around the Tower Grove South neighborhood.
