New online farmers market with South Wedge pickup comes to Rochester

Local Stuff Box, an exciting online farmers market located in the heart of Rochester, New York, is gearing up for its inaugural online season. This will bring fresh food to the people of Rochester from local farmers who are part of the initiative. So, if you prefer fresh, locally sourced food then this may be ideal. In a sense, it is like farm-to-table but is online rather than through a shop or restaurant.

What’s the story with Local Stuff Box, you ask? Well, it’s essentially a fusion of two beloved Rochester markets – the South Wedge Farmers Market and the Neighborhood of the Arts Farmers Market. Their goal is to make it easier than ever for folks in and around Rochester to access local goods, just like they do with Instacart, GrubHub, and Amazon.

According to their website: ‘We will start the market in September, with orders opening Wednesday at 8am each week, closing at noon on Fridays, and pickup Sunday evenings (tentatively between 5:30 and 7pm).  We will be having pickups at 357 Gregory Street.’

So, if you’re in the Rochester area, keep an eye out for Local Stuff Box – your go-to spot for all things local and delicious. Remember, this will also help out local farmers and food producers which is certainly not a bad thing either.
