After months of anticipation, Voodoo Donuts finally opened its Phoenix branch yesterday. Over the years, Voodoo Donuts has enjoyed commercial success in Oregon. However, the Phoenix location is the first of its kind in the city. Here, revelers literally queued around the block in the blistering sun to get their hands on these interesting donuts.

Over in Oregon, Voodoo Donuts carved out a piece in the market due to their unique flavors and tastes such as passion fruit flavor amongst others. Not only this but the Phoenix location is also open 24/7 which gives an unusual twist on dining.

The above image was posted to Reddit which captured a massive line of people waiting to eat. Such was the size of the line, is that it literally ended out of sight. Despite clearly having a good opening day, not everyone was sure. In the aforementioned Reddit thread, one user named ‘Carlton’ said: “Lived in Eugene for 20 years, let me tell you, These are some mid doughnuts. Cool to get a couple of times but the novelty wears off quickly.”

Despite this, the shop has so far received good reviews online from Phoenix locals. For those wondering, this branch is located at 1324 S Rural Rd, Tempe, AZ 85281 and time will tell whether it’s successful or not.
