It’s not every day that you’re walking down the street when you happen to stumble upon TV royalty filming for a new series. This is what happened to one Minneapolis resident who uploaded their photos on Reddit which showed the iconic Pawn Stars crew filming out of Matt’s Bar. Here, the main man Rick Harrison could be seen talking to his co-workers while a camera crew captured the conversation nearby.

Responding to the photos, other Reddit users confirmed Pawn Stars had recently visited the city, as one user named I Am Sam Well said: “Yup. They rented out the Machine Shed last week and I think they had some people try to sell them stuff there” while another one claimed: “Yup, I was an extra for the day. I didn’t end up selling my antique plated silver pitchers, but made $150 and got lunch for being on set the whole day. It was fun!”

Pawn Stars first started filming in 2009 and has since gone on to have 21 series and counting. Here, the Harrison family buys and sells antiques from the public in their pawn shop. Over the years, they have visited various US cities for their show and this week it looked as though it was Minneapolis’s turn to host the family for filming. It is assumed that their Minneapolis content will be used in their upcoming series, ‘Pawn Stars do America’.
