Tacos Jalapa, a beloved taqueria situated in Sunnyvale at the junction of El Camino Real and Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road, had been serving mouthwatering Mexican cuisine from its cozy spot since the mid-1990s. As a result, this earned an acclaimed reputation amongst locals and received strong reviews.

The proprietors, renowned for their warm hospitality, consistently delighted patrons with an array of delectable Mexican dishes such as tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Moreover, their pricing was exceptionally affordable, with the majority of menu items priced below $10. To top it off, customers were regularly treated to complimentary servings of chips and salsa along with their orders. As seen, the sign did not specify why the restaurant closed but it is possible that the owners decided to retire after decades of business.
