Yesterday, the popular retail store Lowe’s announced that they would be opening an outlet store in Huntsville. This would be over 10,000 square feet and would offer substantial discounts on regular products due to being an outlet store (which often features slightly damaged items alongside new products).

The outlet store is set to open on September 8th at 9:45 AM and is located at 6275 University Dr. Huntsville, Al 35806. The grand opening was announced on Facebook which garnered a lot of attention from Huntsville residents with over 800 comments on the announcement post.

For the most part, it looks as though the store will be stocking home appliances such as cookers, as well as garden furniture and kid’s toys. Speaking on the opening, one local named Scott Coil wrote: “I Saw that the other day, I didn’t know when the opening was though!”

With this said, there seems to be a lot of anticipation surrounding the new store which may help provide money-saving discounts for families on a budget. Overall, this marks an expansion policy from Lowe’s who have lately built more stores across the Alabama region. With regards to this particular outlet store, only time will tell if it’s a success or not. For now at least, there seems to be quite a buzz surrounding its opening.
