If you’ve lived in Columbus long enough, then you’ll probably be aware of Buckeye Donuts. This is a local store that is highly regarded as one of the best in the area when it comes to donuts. They also offer other treats such as bismarks, savory snacks, and drinks as well. Yesterday, it was revealed that they had opened up a new location at The North Market.

At this point in time, it is not known whether this is a permanent location or a pop-up. However, you would assume it was the former based on the equipment involved and the logistics of the operation. Incredibly, Buckeye Donuts has been around since 1969 and its main location is based on N High Street. However, it’s not surprising to see an expansion based on their popularity and presence in the city.

For donut lovers, this will come as good news. However, it also means that if you’re in The North Market then you may have to have more self-restraint compared to usual! On a serious note, it’s also nice to see a local business thriving which can only be a good thing for the Columbus community. Now we just have to make the tough decision between glazed or sugared!
