As part of the grand opening celebration of a new Cedar Rapids tire store, a local marketing company generously distributed over 120 backpacks containing essential school supplies to prepare kids for the upcoming academic year. These backpacks were equipped with various items, ranging from folders and markers to notebooks.

At the commencement of the giveaway, there was a lengthy queue of hundreds of people. Astonishingly, the entire stock of backpacks was handed out within a mere seven-minute span.

One of the event’s organizers expressed a personal connection to the initiative, revealing, “During my own upbringing, acquiring all the necessary school supplies was sometimes challenging due to limited resources. This year, being in a fortunate position, we perceived an opportunity to extend our blessings to others.” These heartfelt words were shared by Alex Buchheit, the proprietor of Inspired Connection Agency.

The organizers are committed to ensuring that those who patiently queued but were unable to secure a backpack will also receive the much-needed supplies. Looking ahead, Buchheit disclosed plans to host similar events in the future, with aspirations to expand the backpack distribution to a range of 500 to 1500 bags.
