The go-carting venues known as ‘Speedeezz’ and “Speedeezz 2′ have recently announced their permanent closure on Sunday, July 23, as stated on the official company’s Facebook page. These are both located in the Cedar Rapids area of Iowa.

Furthermore, it was emphasized that the company will not be providing any reimbursements for outstanding credit or gift card amounts prior to the closure. This closure was announced on its Facebook page, where the company gave a thank you to the local community over the last 6 years who supported its venture.

Here, they wrote, “Speedeezz & Speedeezz 2 will be permanently closing at 8 pm on Sunday, July 23 2023. We would like to express our deepest gratitude for your support over the last almost 6 years. Please understand that while we cannot give any refunds, we would invite you to come visit us today or tomorrow to use any credits and/or gift card balances. Again THANK YOU Cedar Rapids, surrounding areas, and everyone who traveled so far to visit us. And lastly to our amazing employees, former and current, who gave us their all. We built a family here, and while this is so very hard, we have so many great memories to cherish!!“

Unsurprisingly, locals paid their respect to the go-carting business and were sad to see it go. This is because it was the only go-carting company in the area, which provided fun for people of all ages. However, as of last night – the company is no longer open for business.
