Interactive polls shows huge Trump gains in Iowa

Recently, the Republicans were in town and unsurprisingly, this got a lot of news coverage. Here, the likes of Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump tried their hand at winning over the people of Iowa. According to the Interactive Polls, it was Donald Trump who gained a whopping 46% based on his last visit.

In comparison, his main rival DeSantis gained a mere 16% with the remaining numbers being shared by the less popular Republican candidates. Having said this, these numbers should come as no surprise seeing as Iowa had previously voted twice for the ex-President. In other words, the state seems like a pretty popular hotbed for Mr. Trump who has enjoyed past success there.

Of course, it’s still early days in the big scheme of things but this will come as a hard loss for DeSantis. It also shows that despite Trump not being the President for a number of years, that his stock is clearly quite high and that he could once again make a run for the Whitehouse. With this said, whatever way you look at it, 2024 will be a huge year for the Republicans and will also shape the future history of the USA. Not only this, but it also looks as though Iowa may have a big hand in saying who gets closer to the Whitehouse.
